Short profileGIB was founded in Berlin in 1990 The association has long experience of consultancy in the areas of empirical technology and innovation research, in (regional) economic aiding (promotion), in labour market and in economic development policy. GIB's team includes economists and engineers who work closely together. GIB keeps up extensive contacts with scientists of different disciplines working on international areas and can operate in complex consultancy projects each in co-operation with well-established experts. GIB's consultancy offers are of service for public contractors (for ex. by the Federal Ministry for Research or by Institutes for Economic Aiding (promotion) as well as by industry and service (sector). The consultancy activities of GIB in the area of innovation and industrial research are based on close co-operation of GIB academic director Prof. Dr. H.-J. Ewers and managing director Dr. C. Becker and have been expanded with a technology-engineering branch.
