URENIO Research unit has developed a web portal for Innovation Managenebt Tools technologies and services. The partner regions will contribute with companies or institutions that provide IMT services.

URENIO has implemented a common web company directory with information such as: contact details, previous experience, services provided etc. The information can be organized on a sector or regional base. One of the objectives for the web portal is the activation of European companies in Innovation applications through the facilitation in reaching international expertise. In the beginning of the web portal application, the network members will be gathered in Thessaloniki so as to:

1. be informed for the current application of the portal for Innovation in Central Macedonia
2. discuss about possible alternative schemes and new implementation ideas
3. give their input on IMT providers in their regions and discuss the way this huge material should be organized in an effective way.

The user could access company inputs by region and/or by sector. For instance, he/she can see all the Supply Chain Management application developers included irrelevantly of source and/or all the IMT providers of a specified region irrelevantly of subject.

A search engine based on thematic subject will be included. The lead institute (URENIO - Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) will be responsible for the development of the portal. The application will follow the principles of the existing portal application URENIO has already developed with institutes that promote innovation in Greece and especially in Central Macedonia.
