Tech Tirol cooperates with the Austrian Business Agency the over-regional partner in issues of site and location marketing. Activities in the field of Regional InnovationTech-Tirol is owned by the Government of Tyrol, the Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Industry. The Tech-Tirol is working closely with the Economic-political Coordination Office, of the Tyrolean Government, which has the administrative responsibility for innovation and development in Tyrol. As operative arm of the Tyrolean Government, the Tech-Tirol supports the regional development associations (i.e. LEADER associations) and agencies as well as the technology centres and parks in Tyrol, providing assistance and an internet platform for the know-how and experience transfer. The Tech-Tirol supports companies in the field of business settlement and development, innovation service and management, is responsible for technology transfer, information and communication technologies. The tools the Tech-Tirol is working with are consultation within companies, consultation hours, education in special areas, conferences and a discussion platform and databases on the internet. The backbone is an advisory network created in the RITTS-Tirol project from 1998 to 2000, which covers the following industries: Alpine Wellness, Food, Wood, Construction, Processing Technologies, Young Business Network and Medicine. |
